Data Science and Big Data Curriculum WriterType: Contract, Remote

We expect to have ongoing needs for contract-based writing work. These positions will be remote, with the possibility of ongoing work. Hourly rate is commensurate with experience.

Are you a data science expert with a knack for writing about complex concepts in an engaging, beginner-friendly way?

If so, Thinkful needs your help creating learning materials for our data science bootcamp. You'll contribute to our curriculum, creating world-class learning content that helps our students advance their careers.

All candidates should have the following qualifications:

-Passion for teaching data science to beginners-Excellent writing skills and expertise in: Python, Pandas, Statistics and probability, Machine Learning with MLlib and Sci-Kit Learn-Experience teaching, mentoring, or writing content on data science or another technical discipline-Strong communication skills-Self-sufficient and efficient. You can take a list of requirements, run with it, and quickly turn around high-quality drafts

Additionally, we're looking for contributors with one or more of the following specializations:

-Time series analysis-Network analysis-Econometrics-Natural language processing-Social sciences-Tensor flow and keras-Biostats-Big data with Spark (specifically, raw Spark, not just PySpark)-Image processing-Geospatial analysis-Recommender systems-Anomaly detection.
